Golds and Lime Green Army Declare Ceasefire

Big Surf, Golds Empire – After declaring war on the Lime Green Army just a few days ago, the armies have declared a 2 week ceasefire, alongside the strong possibility of the war ending entirely.

After being given signs of war during the week, the Golds took it upon themselves to declare war on the Lime Green Army on August 2nd, 2016. It appears that both the Golds and LGA have experienced conflict with one another in the past, having already fought at least 2 wars with each other; in which the Golds won both, claiming to have “killed them twice before”. Below you can see the Golds’ reasons as to why they declared war, or you can read the entire publication by clicking here.

It’s has been nearly a year since Golds’ has taken part in war and we need more excitement going on. There have been many reports of them ‘firing shots’ at us and we will not tolerate that. We will also defend our allies that they’ve attacked such as NR. There was a vote on whether or not we should declare war and which army should we declare it on and this is the result, even though most of us don’t really have anything against their leaders such as Greeny. I see this as a fair fight considering both our positions on Top Ten’s and servers. This will be a golden victory!

As you can see from the post above, the Golds claim to have had no involvement in war in almost a year, and they felt that the war was instigated by the Lime Green Army. Not only were they, allegedly, “firing shots” at the Golds, but they also attacked the Golds’ allies, the Night Rebels.

In retaliation to this, the Lime Green army posted a short retaliation paragraph, stating that their decision of war was a “foolish decision”, claiming to be a “force to reckon with”.

Golds have declared war, what a foolish decision. Let’s show them as well as other armies that we are a force to be reckon with.

Although the number of invasions and defences the Lime Green Army carried out is unknown due to what appears to be a site defacement, the Golds carried out 2 successful defences and one raid. During the defence of Big Surf, their capital server, the Golds managed to attain sizes of 13 throughout, maxing a height of 15, against LGA’s 4. Their best event of the short lived war was their defence of Powder Ball, where they maxed 16 to a mere 1 LGA troop.

On August 4th 2016, a ceasefire was declared between the two armies, stating that they cannot invade each other for the next two weeks. Alongside this deal, the Lime Green army were forced to transfer 3 servers – Ice Berg, Frosty and Patagonia, in return for Vanilla and the 4 resource points that came with Ice Berg. As well as this, the treaty states that the LGA cannot declare war on the Golds should they be in another war by the time the ceasefire is over.

As you can see from the above, it seems that despite the war not lasting for more than 3 days, the Golds are the ones who managed to expand their nation in the end. Although why the war pulled a short straw is unknown, there also appears to be subtle hints that the army plans to enter another war very soon.

What do you think? Was this the right call for the war? Will the Golds find a new victim? Will the two armies remain at peace with one another? Comment your thoughts below. Here at CPAC, we value YOUR opinions!
