Shock Troops of CP’s Jolting Revival

Blizzard, CP Army Media Headquarters – In this generation of club penguin, we have seen many armies rise and fall. Due to the ongoing crisis of COVID-19, we are able to see the revival of many armies, including the Shock Troops.

Originally, Shad wanted to create Shock Troops in 2011. However, it was not until 2019 that Cena was able to put this idea into action. They reached great heights before unfortunately shutting down in the middle of November.

Zucculente is the second leader of the Shock Troops. He was able to revive the army five months afterwards on April 4th, 2020. Here is a picture of their revival event:

CPAM was fortunate enough to be able to catch Zucculente for a quick interview.

This interview below has not been altered.

Doggorage [CPAM]: Thanks for taking the time to conduct this interview with me, Zucculente. I hope your day is going well. For starters, I have a few questions for you. When did you first join Shock Troops?

Zucculente [ST]: Well, when I first joined was probably late September or early October; and Shock Troops was abandoned in November when former leader Cena went on to lead the Pretzels of Club Penguin.

Doggorage [CPAM]: Gotcha, that actually leads me into my next question. What made you decide to pick up Shock Troops and revive it?

Zucculente [ST]: When Cena retired this past week, he granted me access to this army. Since then I’ve been leading it in his name.

Doggorage [CPAM]: Sounds like he left it in good hands. Have you led any armies before?

Zucculente [ST]: Never. I first joined a Club Penguin army in mid-July of 2019 so I’ve never gotten the chance.

Doggorage [CPAM]: I’m sure you’re going to do great. Would you say that there is a good chance of allying with Pretzels of Club Penguin?

Zucculente [ST]: The Pretzels was led by Cena when he retired. So when he did, he didn’t want anyone to lead it and to let it rest with memories. So as of right now, the Pretzels is non-existent.

Doggorage [CPAM]: I see. While unfortunate, we’ve witnessed the rise and fall of many armies due to real life, school, or other reasons. In your opinion, will the Shock Troops survive this change in leadership?

Zucculente [ST]: During this summer, I believe Shock Troops will peak, as I have no school. However, when school does start, there might be a little bit of difficulty. But I will try my hardest to succumb to my obstacles and keep leading to my best ability.

Doggorage [CPAM]: That makes sense. Hopefully with the ongoing quarantine, you will see a rise in numbers as well. Thanks for taking the time to conduct this interview with me. Do you have anything else you’d like to add?

Zucculente [ST]: I think that’s all. Thank you for the interview.

Doggorage [CPAM]: Thank you for your time. I’m sure the revival of the Shock Troops will be sure to shock the system!

As you heard from Zucculente himself, ST is going to be in good hands. With this revival, there are bound to be some exciting battles ahead. We here at CPAM are excited to see how fast Shock Troops grows.

Battle Review : ACP vs PIC vs OMA

Blizzard, CPAM Headquarters – With the growth happening within armies, the community saw a huge battle take place on the Friday, 27th March between the Army of Club Penguin, the People’s Imperial Confederation, and the Os Mascarados Army in Club Penguin Rewritten.

Battle Graphic made by ACP

The first room was Inside the Mine. In this room, the ACP had a massive size advantage, the PIC tried out various line formations, and the OMA tried to retain their sizes throughout. The ACP took this room by storm.

The second room was the Stadium. Both the ACP and the PIC started off well with definite formations. Despite the perfect formations and tactics shown by PIC and OMA; the ACP won the room because of their massive size, bombs, and formations.

The third room was the Beach. The ACP started off solid with an anchor formation, while the PIC and OMA both made a horizontal line. Even though this room didn’t see many formation changes from any of the armies, the ACP won this room easily.

We interviewed the respective army leaders. Let’s see what they had to say:

CPAM: All 3 armies were hyped and ready for the Triple Threat PB. Were you satisfied by the participation of your army?

LuckyLuigi [PIC]: I was extremely satisfied with the participation of PIC. Our member’s gave it their all and that’s all a commander can really ask for. I’m proud and humbled to have the honor of leading them.

CSY [ACP]: We had over 90 reacts and maxed 65+ online, smashing our last battle record by over 20 troops. I’m extremely satisfied by our performance.

Meanwhile, OMA’s leader Fire told us that he wasn’t able to get into rooms and had to lead blind due to that.

CPAM: If applicable, how did this Practice Battle affect your army’s foreign relations?

LuckyLuigi [PIC]: That’s a terrific question! Overall, the practice battle exposed a lot of PIC’s new soldiers to the art of battling, and for that I am thankful that we had a three way practice battle. In regards to foreign relations, nothing really developed from the event.

CSY [ACP]: In regards to foreign relations – OM has always been kind to us and extremely receptive towards PBs in the past – we’ve since then become allies with them. We’ve never historically been in the best of terms with PIC, but we still thank them for the battle and hope for much more in the future.

Congratulations to the WINNER of all three rooms:

Army of Club Penguin

CPAM Premier League Tournament

Blizzard, CPAM HQ – With the outbreak of COVID-19, most countries have gone on lock down resulting in school and job closings. Whilst we in CPAM hope that everyone stays safe at home, this has resulted in a boost of Army Community activity.

Earlier this month, CPAM held a meeting with Army Leaders where they voted and decided that CPAM would host a different kind of tournament based on the Round Robin format. This tournament is a Premier League type tournament with all armies battling each other once, noting wins in a Points Table, and held over the course of 2 weeks fully packed with action!
